Stephanie started teaching at FAC in 1992. She is certified in Schwinn Cycling, Les Mills GRIT™, BODYPUMP® and Nia. She completed the Black Belt level of Nia in 2018.
As a professional musician and music educator, Stephanie utilizes music to inspire participants to move with purpose, connection and expression. Her strong musicality and love of movement is what inspired her to become an instructor and continues to fuel her ability to motivate and move with students of all ages and fitness levels. She is an advocate for barefoot fitness, rhythmic movement and physical expression as vehicles for healing and allowing the body and mind to flourish as we age.
Stephanie married her true love, Steve Galloway in 1992. They have three sons: Luke (b. 1999), Max (b. 2001) and Paul (b. 2003) and foster daughter Melanie (b. 2001). Stephanie is a certified K-12 music teacher teaching choir, piano, music theory and jazz history at Flagstaff High School since the fall of 2016. She enjoys working with a variety of arts organizations in Flagstaff, including the Master Chorale of Flagstaff (Accompanist), the NAU Department of Theater (Music Director/Pianist) and Trinity Heights United Methodist Church (Pianist/Organist).
