Swim Instructor

Hi, my name is Greta! I’m currently a Junior at NAU studying Elementary Education and have been around the pool since the age of six. I started swimming for my hometown swim team in first grade and fell in love with being in the water. I swam with that team until my Senior year of high school, and I also swam for my high school varsity team. Over the many years I swam I was honored to be a captain, teammate, and role model for those around me. After graduating high school I took a break from competitive swimming but continued to swim for fun. I coached the club team back in Fairbanks, which ranged from littles who were just starting, to high schoolers looking to swim at the next level. I started lessons here at FAC in May 2024 and have loved teaching the sport! I enjoy introducing swimming to those who haven’t been in the pool yet as well as helping with stroke technique and development for those who are looking to further their swimming. Off the deck, I love to ski, camp, take photos, and watch football (Go Pack)
