Hi! My name is Bella Bowman and I am a swim instructor at FAC. I am originally from Maryland, where I grew up swimming, and I moved to Flagstaff in August 2023.
I swam for a club team for 5 years and was a part of my summer swim team until I turned 18. I also swam for my high school’s varsity team for all 4 years. As if I hadn’t spent enough time at the pool already, I decided to get my lifeguard certification and guarded for about 4 years. I started teaching swim lessons when I got my lifeguard cert, and I have been coaching ever since. I took over a summer pre-team, which consisted of children ages 4-8, and coached that team for 2 summers. I took on private lessons as well and enjoyed them so much, that I still teach today!
