Flagstaff Athletic Club offers a wide variety of group classes to meet the needs of members of all fitness levels. Our professional group fitness instructors are certified (or working towards certification) by ACE, ACSM, AEA and/or AFFA. Heart rates are monitored in all classes to ensure safety and effectiveness, and modifications are demonstrated to lower intensity. If you ever feel you are working too hard, or feel discomfort doing a particular exercise, ease off, and speak with your instructor. Our group fitness floors are of suspended wood, which provides a resilient, safe surface that helps absorb impact. Class fitness level is designated by: Beginner (B), Intermediate (I), Advanced (A), but anyone may attend and modify. If you need individual instruction prior to class please give Laurie Cortez, Group Fitness Manager a call at 779-5141. We'll be happy to help in any way we can!
